Lily Lagoon Resort’s first Sunday event bought the sounds of Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America to Kununurra on the weekend.
More than 100 people joined us for an evening of reggae, original dancehall, Caribbean and African vibes with world fusion flavours. The event saw our community and visitors come together on the first day of NAIDOC Week, for a celebration of music, and all cultures.
A huge shout out to Christy Van Der Heyden of Tropical FYAH and her sound techs Kelvin, Christine and Ethan, who gave us four hours of beats, to share music and culture with the Kununurra community! A huge thank you to our resort guests and campers who joined us for the evening, we hope you have some good memories to take on your journey.
